Welcome!
My name is David and I am the owner and lead technology expert for Delta Link Tech. My obsession for technology is older than websites. I have over three decades of experience building, testing, and servicing computers, networks, wireless systems and all their related devices for large enterprises, federal government, municipal offices and home users.
I served in the Army for six years and continued civil service for over two decades. I didn’t come from a wealthy family, so I worked hard from a age studying technology to learn creative ways to get the most out of limited resources. In High School, I enjoyed and breezed through my Cisco Certified Network Associate and CompTIA A+ Certification courses and continued on during my Army service to get my Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, specializing in Network Management.
My early values led to my embrace and respect for the many free and open source projects that rival or simply outclass their costly commercial alternatives. Open source software is often more secure because the entire world is able to see the code and point out vulnerabilities or even contribute their own fixes to better the project. With the invention of 3D printers, open source hardware projects have started their own revolution.
There are endless possibilities of how we can use technology and open source projects to better our lives and propel our businesses, the only downside is not every person shares my passion, nor has the time or resources to hire someone to continually study the entire range of new technologies and maintain the experience to know the capabilities you need versus wasting your money on expensive features your business will never need.
In some cases you may already know that you want better Wi-Fi that is reliable anywhere in your building and you just need a hand shopping for and properly installing the right equipment. There are other cases where you may not be aware of what is currently possible, like Wi-Fi systems with a 50+ mile range so you could connect multiple office locations to share one quality internet connection instead of the high monthly expense of separate internet service at every location and even take it a step further by having seamless, inexpensive backup internet service through a cell network to keep all of your critical business locations and operations running even if your main internet goes down.
I would love the opportunity to take your stress away by solving your technology problems.
